Kabir Humayun: A team of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit held the son-in-law of fugitive Bangabandhu killer Sultan Shahriar Rashid on Wednesday in a case filed against him under the ICT act for posting derogatory comments against Bangabandhu on Facebook.
Masudur Rahman, deputy commissioner (media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, claimed that detainee Fuad Zaman also demanded release of Bangabandhu killers and praised them in the Facebook post, reports The Daily Star.
A team of CTTC unit picked up Fuad Zaman from Eskaton area last night, the DC said.
Fuad Zaman was sued with Dhanmondi Police Station in this connection under the ICT Act recently.
