Teachers of non-gov’t edu instts threaten to go for movement again

    Desk Report: Teachers and employees of non-government educational institutions yesterday threatened to wage movement again if their demands including nationalization of their institutes are not met immediately, reports UNB.
    Bangladesh Non-Government Teachers’ and Employees’ Forum came up with the threat at a press conference at Jaiya Press Club yesterday morning.
    Their demands include nationalsation of non-government educational institutions, five percent annual increment and festival allowance for the Bengali New Year.
    Md Saidul Hasan Selim, president of the organization, said the organisation called off their 20-day demonstrations and hunger strike programme on January 29 following the prime minister’s assurance of meeting their demands.
