Two sisters were killed and two others including a van driver were injured in a road accident in Jogodal area under Magura Sadar upazila of the district on Sunday afternoon.
Police said the accident took place when a mechanized trolley hit a
rickshaw van in Jogodal area on the Magura-Narail road at about 2 pm yesterday.
Two passengers of the van- Maya Das, 60, and her younger sister Durga Das, 55, succumbed to their injuries on way to hospital.
The injured persons – Sanatan, 10, and van driver Saddam Hossain were sent to Magura Sadar hospital for treatment.
