Desk Report: Anju Ghosh, the lead actor of ’90s blockbuster sensation ‘Beder Meye Josna,’ one of the most commercially successful films in the history of Bangladesh, is now in Dhaka. Anju came to Dhaka on September 6, 22 years after her last visit here. She now lives in Kolkata, reports Daily Asian Age. General Secretary of the Film Artists Association and actor Zayed Khan thinks the country’s film industry still needs her presence, and that was the reason she was invited to Dhaka.
Zayed Khan also said: “Anju Ghosh was scheduled to get a reception from the Artists Association at FDC where she talked directly to the journalists. She then returned to Kolkata on September 10.”
