How can people be so cruel. Would you just abandon your child like that?
It really irritates me when people think that it’s ok to abandon their pets. When you get a pet, a bond is created between the two of you.
I know this very well because I adopted a dog that had been abandoned. It was left on the roadside and its mother was killed by a bear trap. My dog Jessie was taken in by one shelter, which closed down due to it treating the animals poorly. She was then rescued by the SPCA, where we adopted her.
I would never in a million years think of abandoning her again because it would not only break my heart, but her’s as well.
