The vote of the day on 7 billion asks us to answer how we feel about abortion. This debate is ongoing and never ending. The debate revolves around the moral, religious and legal aspects of abortion. It is currently in the news in Latin America, as Argentina voted to decriminalise abortion. Latin America is split between Cuba where abortion is legal and El Savador where it is not
I have never been a person to be actively involved in protests and debates. I have my viewpoint, and I internalise it. I keep it locked up and I don’t share, in order to protect myself from verbal attacks which I feel would inevitably arise.
However, the abortion debate is a topic I feel ever so strongly about due to my own personal and private reasons. Those reasons lay in the depth of my soul, and are not for sharing online. But I will explicitly state here on the Seven Billion Community page, that: IT IS A WOMAN’S CHOICE. She will give birth to the child, she will bring up the child and she will support that child in every single way possible.
If a woman has been forcefully made to have sex without her permission, leading her to get pregnant, then I believe fully that it is totally the woman’s choice on how to move further. All of these pro-Life believers don’t know anything, and they won’t know anything until they are in such a heartbreakingly difficult situation themselves.
