I won’t contest polls: Muhith

Kabir Humayun: Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith yesterday said that he would not contest the upcoming 11th parliamentary polls.
Muhith made the confirmation while talking to the reporters after attending a program of Grameen Bank at the secretariat, reports Banglanews24.com.
“Probably, I would join the election-time government as I won’t contest polls anymore,” he said.
“Yes, I have finalized the decision,” he added.
Muhith, however, said he would work for his brother former ambassador Abdul Momen Chowdhury, who will contest the national polls likely to be held in late December.
