More or less, everyone at some point in their life tries a sip from the darker side. By that I mean a sip of alcohol. Weather you stick to it, take it to another level or just plain avoid it-there are a few rumors out there that need to be sorted out. The following article will explore different forms of alcohol, their effects on the body according to scientific research and finally what you might feel after a few drinks. So here’s a quick guide for an amateur or ‘occasional’ drinker!
1: Beer: Beer will make you bloat and pee consistently. It also contains more carbohydrates and calories than some other alcohols. The verdict is that you might be able to drink a lot of it without becoming too hung-over the next day
2: Wine: This is one drowsy bottle to pick. It’s one of the most romantic drinks out there but it will make you mellow. If you cannot stand your drink or have not tried drinking before, then drink wine with caution and with small sips, as a sudden intake will cause headaches and nausea. People with chronic migraines should avoid wines entirely. The verdict is that you might not enjoy it as much as you think you will and the hangover from an entire bottle’s consumption is pretty moderate.
3: Vodka: This is one bad mama! Did you know it has been cited as one of the major causes of accidents while under the influence of liquor? It packs a big punch and should be a big no-mo for beginners. The verdict says that you should stay away from this drink until you have the ability to stand up to it as it will give you one massive hangover.
