Being girls, we all are naturally beauty conscious, to some extent. However, as we age, our beauty tends to fade away *dramatically breaks in to tears*. We then resort to using various beauty products we see being advertised on TV (I know your mom splurged on those Olay Age Defying skincare sets too!). According to science, our skin starts to go through what seems like a slower process of death. Do not worry though! Yours truly is here again to save the day with her helpful beauty tips. Well, actually they are beauty tips from a renowned doctor named Rachel Nazarian, but erm… you know what I mean!
Below is a list of vital ingredients that are like food to keep your skin healthy and looking as fresh as that of an 18 year old!

    Retinoids
These can help fuel collagen production, which helps to restore the plump and makes your skin look rejuvenated. It can heal dark spots, fine lines, and wrinkles, but it will not happen right away. So you might as well start right now!

    Eye Cream
Start using a good eye cream to reduce darkening, lessen the puffiness, and help invigorate your under-eye area.

    Sunscreen
Despite what many people believe, it is not only supposed to be used during the summertime. You need to use minimum of SPF 30 to protect you from every day radiation that damages your skin and makes you look older.

    Hydrate
WATER IS IMPORTANT! Water helps to maintain the elasticity and plumpness that gives this glow to your skin. When you shower, your skin gets stripped of moisture and essential oils, which is why you need to use a good moisturizer to rehurdrate your skin.

    Topical peels
Glycolic acid oir salicyclic acid or any other topical peel will do. The more we age, the more our cell-renewal process slows down. Using a topical peel regularly helps to exfoliate the skin gently, and removes light discolorations.

    Exercise
Work it girl! According to many studies, people who work out have a better chance at reducing their fine lines and of course, they are healthier too!
Say no to sugar: A diet with high levels of sugar and wine can cause inflammation of your skin. You are better off replacing those things with foods rich in antioxidants that will improve your skin tone and redness.
