A man was killed as a pickup van hit him at Itchakhada Natun Bazaar area in Sadar upazila on Wednesday morning. The deceased was Khalilur Rahman, 52, son of Abul Hossain Biswas, a resident of Bajitpur in Jhenaidah district. Sub inspector of Magura Highway Police Abdur Rauf said the accident occurred when the pickup van hit Rouf in the area at about 9 am.
