A youth was killed and three others were injured in a road mishap at Vatipara on the Dhaka-Khulna highway in Sadar upazila on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was Ratan Gyine, 20, of Zoaria village under Tungipara upazila of the district.
Officer-in-charge of Sadar Thana Selim Reja said the accident occurred when a bus hit a rickshaw-van from behind in the area at about 9am, leaving four rickshaw-van passengers injured.
