Sejuti Mourin: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained a Police SI along with 30,000 Yaba pills at Mirsharai upazila of Chattogram yesterday morning.
The detained Abul Basher, son of Abdul Hamid of Cumilla, is the member of Brahmanbaria Detective Branch of police, reported the Daily Observer.
Md Nuruzzaman, assistant superintendent of Chattogram RAB-7, said a team of elite force from Feni detained Abul Basher from Baroiyarhat area around 9am along with the drugs.
The SI was reportedly going to Dhaka from Chattogram with the Yaba pills by motorcycle, said Feni camp commander squadron leader Jamil Fahim.
