Raj Abrar: The main Jamaat (congregation) of holy Eid-ul-Azha will be held at the National Eidgah ground at High Court area of the capital at 8:00am Wednesday, according to an announcement yesterday by Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sayeed Khokon in a meeting regarding overall security measures at the Eidgah ground.
“Details will be given after completing all preparatory work on Sunday (August 19). Like every year, special seats will be arranged for VIP persons, like the President, Chief Justice,” said the mayor, reported BanglaNews.
Mayor Khokon also added that preparations have been taken to withstand thunderstorms.
