BMW to recall 3 lakh diesel cars

NDTV: Germany’s luxury automaker BMW is going to recall 23,700 diesel cars in Europe over an engine fire danger, following a similar action in South Korea, a German media newspaper reported. The recall is to fix a faulty component that was aimed at reducing emissions from diesel engines. Of the total recall, around 96.300 vehicles are in Germany, the newspaper said, claiming it had confirmation from BMW.
