Kabir Humayun: The 38th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) written examinations begins today.
The written test for compulsory subjects to take place from August 8 to August 13 and tests for the optional subjects will be held on the first week of September, reports UNB.
Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC), in press release issued yesterday afternoon, said the candidates will not be allowed to carry any kind of watches, books, calculators and other electronic tools during the tests.
A sufficient number of watches will be provided in all examination halls for the candidates to see the time, it added.
The examinees will not be allowed to cover their ears as well as to wear any kind of ornaments.
According to the notice, violators of the rules will have their instruments seize, even their candidacy might be cancelled and declared unqualified for other recruiting tests of the PSC.
