Kabir Humayun: BNP yesterday extended its support to the ongoing student movement protesting deaths of their two fellows in a road crash on the city’s Airport Road on Sunday.
“We’re giving full support to the logical demand of the students,” said BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir while speaking at BNP’s Nayapaltan central office in Dhaka, reports UNB.He also demanded resignation of the government for its failure on all fronts, including restoration of discipline in the transport sector.Fakhrul also called upon people to put up a strong resistance against the government’s dreadful misrule and repression to ensure its fall.
