Abrar Hussain: A Nara-yanganj court yesterday sentenced four people to death for raping and killing Khadiza, a 10-year-old girl, fifteen years ago, reports Banglanews24. Judge Jewel Rana of Narayanganj Women and Children Repression Prevention Court announced the verdict at 12:00am.
The convicts were Sujon, Alamin, Abul Kalam, Shahadat, none of whom were present in the court. Khadiza, daughter of Ali Akbar and hailing from Alirtek area of Fatullah town, was murdered after rape in a mustard field in Alirtek area on January 13, 2003.
