Massive government steps lauded for women development

The massive steps taken by present government for development of the women have been lauded in ensuring safe maternity, maternal and neonatal health services, sanitation facilities and eradicating social curses.
Government officials disclosed the information at a women rally organised by the District Information Office at Ajoddhapur Government Primary School premises under Sadar upazila in the district on Wednesday afternoon.
The rally was arranged with a view to inform the women community as well as common people on the successes achieved by the present government during the past seven years and its future development plans. Sadar Upazila Chairman Nasima Zaman Boby attended the rally as the chief guest with Senior District Information Officer Humayun Kabir in the chair.
Chairman of Chandanpat union parishad Aminur Rahman and Chairman of the School Managing Committee of Ajoddhapur Government Primary School Mostafizur Rahman addressed the rally as special guests.
The Senior District Information Officer narrated tremendous successes achieved by the government in the education, health, women development and empowerment, poverty alleviation, digitisation and in other sectors.
