Relief and Disaster Management Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya (Bir Bikram) stressed the need for awareness among teachers and guardians to combat terrorism and militancy in educational institutions.
“Giving education on morality and discipline is necessary alongside with the academic education to build an enlightened nation,” he said while speaking as chief guest at the award giving ceremony of annual sports competition of Motijheel Model School and College here.
Calling upon the young generation to remain alert against any move against the soil and its flag, he also said, “It is the high time for the young generation to carry forward the nation.”
Principal Selina Shams of the college presided over the function.
