Dr. Kamal Hossain, Constitution expert :We have to achieve the Bangladesh that we wanted, by forging protests in a united manner. We have many shortcomings. It has been five years since the self-proclaimed government said it would stay in power for a little while. This is unimaginable. Our culture (of politics) was hampered through the general election held in January 5, 2014 that was 153 candidates being elected unopposed. Our ambitions are being neglected.We are calling demonstrations to be held so yet another 5-January polls-like election does not repeat and the expectation of the masses does not get spoiled. We have to protect the country and the people through forging a united protest. Power belongs to the people, who we should save. Belongings of some people are being misappropriated and the owners have to protect those by remaining united.
