Miscreants hurled a crude bomb at the house of an Awami League rebel candidate at Araishidha village in Ashuganj upazila early Saturday, ahead of the upcoming Union Parishad election. Local people said 2/3 miscreants on a motorcycle arrived and hurled a crude bomb targeting the house of Quamrul Islam Mobarak, candidate of Araishidha union in the upazila, and left the scene.
