In an effort to make Dutch people aware about the significance of historic 7th March speech of Bangabandhu, the Bangladesh Embassy in the Netherlands has translated the speech into Dutch language with the help of some Bangladeshi expatriates living there. A meeting was organized by the Bangladesh Embassy in The Hague to discuss the significance of the historic speech of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on March 7, 1971. Apart from the Embassy officials, some 30 expatriate Bangladesh nationals attended the discussion meeting. A translated copy of the historic speech was distributed among the participants of the meeting at the end of the event, said a media release yesterday.
