A businessman named Mahfuzul Karim, resident of Uttara in the capital, was attacked by a group of attackers over past enmity on Tuesday night. It is known that in 2005 his elder brother Al Mamun Siddiqui was killed over a dispute for the marriage of Mahfuzul Karim’s younger brother Masud Adnan Siddiqui.The plaintiff of this murder case was the younger brother Masud Siddiqui who has been living abroad for a long time now.Mahfuzul Karim said that the defendant of the case has been using various threats and pressure to lift the case. He was attacked for this reason, Mahfuzul Karim claims.
