DUCSU poll will not be bias to any student group

“For me there is no Chhatra Dal or Chhatra League. To me all student organisations are equal. I will try my level best to provide a crystal poll,” said Dr. S M Mahfuzur Rahman, Chief Returning Officer of DUCSU polls, regarding the claim of Chhatra Dal that the Chhatra League do not want to give them the space to voice the rightful demands of the general students.
He further said, if any political party will be force here, then I have nothing to do. But from my own side, I would like to give a fair polling.
The long-awaited DUCSU election is round the corner, the issue of “co-existence” has far and wide been in discussion, similar to the issue of “level playing field” was in discussion before the last national election.
The DUCSU election will be held at 11th March at Dhaka University campus after 29 years.
Eleven of the 14 student organisations on campus demanded that the polling booths should be setup in the academic building, not in any student halls.
