TIB report over elections correct

Prof Anu Muhammad speaks to DOT  :
The government’s existence lies in denying what really happened in the just-concluded 11th parliamentary elections held on December 30. Because, the government will lose its moral legitimacy if it concedes the report.
AL knows it better about the TIB report since vote rigging took place under the aegis of the government. AL leaders and activists knows even better about the report as they were directly involved with the vote rigging. The government used the elections as arms from the very beginning. They have established a monopoly in the electoral campaign. AL is a major political party and has public support. Despite the fact, it is regrettable that they feared to face the voters. The fear has been reflected in the elections.
They are afraid of reposing trust on the voters. I know some people who would cast their votes for AL but they saw that their votes were already cast. It is creating a pitiful situation for AL, as it is afraid of trusting people.
It is not a manifestation of strength for a party like AL. It is now a part of AL’s existence to deny the truth of vote rigging.
