DOT Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has reappointed her five advisers in the new government, reports The Daily Star.
The advisers are: HT Imam, Dr Mushiur Rahman, Dr Gowher Rizvi, Dr Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury, Maj Gen (retd) Tarique Ahmed Siddique.
The cabinet division today published a gazette over the appointment of the five advisers with portfolio of a minister. “The prime minister appointed the advisers under the rule 3B(i) of the Rules of Business, 1996,” the gazette said.
According to the gazette, HT Imam, was appointed as political adviser, Mushiur Rahman as economic affairs, Gowher Rizvi, as international affairs, Tawfiq-e-Elahi, as power and energy and Taique Ahmed Siddique as security affairs advisers to the prime minister.
The advisers will get the same salaries and allowances of a minister.
Their appointment has been effective since Jan 7, according to the gazette.
