The authority of Islamic University (IU) on Tuesday appointed its new Students Advisor and proctor for the university in Kushtia, IU registrar office sources said.
Prof Dr Paresh Chandra Barman of Information and Communication Engineering department and Prof Dr M Ibrahim Abdullah Saiser of Computer Science and Engineering department have been appointed as the new Student Advisor and Proctor respectively.
IU vice-chancellor ProfM Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari appointed them to the post for the next one year, sources registrar in charge SM Abdul Latif said.
The newly appointed Students advisor replaced with Prof Dr M Rezwanul Islam of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering department whereas fresh proctor made as the tenor of previous proctor Prof Dr M Mahbubar Rahman of Electrical and Electronic Engineering department, sources added.
