Bank financial closing Dec 27, bank holiday Dec 31

    The current year’s annual financial accounting of the country’s scheduled banks will be closed on December 27 instead of December 30, reports The New Age.
    Bangladesh Bank took the decision taking into account the general election scheduled for December 30, said a circular issued by the central bank’s Offsite Supervision Department.

    The circular said that December 31 will be observed as bank holiday as usual.
