Newborn’s severed body found in Khulna

    Police here on Thursday recovered the severed body of a newborn boy from a dustbin at Tutpara in the city.
    Sub-inspector of Sadar Police Station Tipu Sultan said they recovered the body of newborn from the dustbin on Central Road around 11:30 am.
    The left hand, left leg and left ear of the baby were severed and the body also bore a gash on the left side of the chest, he said.
    The body was sent to Khulna Medical College Hospital for autopsy, the police officer added.
