Sayeed Muhammad: Bang-ladesh Jatri Kalyan Sa-mity Sec-retary Ge-neral Moz-ammel Ha-que Chowdhury was arrested from his Sanarpar residence in Siddhirganj of Dhaka city early yesterday, over extortion charges.
He was arrested from his residence around 3 am, in a case filed with Mirpur Model Police Station for allegedly extorting money , said Dadon Fakir, officer-in-charge of Mirpur Police Station, reports UNB.
The detailed information about the case could not be known immediately, however.
