PM leaves Dubai to join G7 summit outreach session

    Raj Abrar: At the invitation of her Canadian counterpart Justine Trudeau, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left Dubai yesterday for Toronto on a four-day official visit to attend the outreach session of G7 Summit. After making a five-hour stopover in Dubai, the Emirates flight carrying the prime minister and her entourage departed Dubai International Airport at 3:30 am local time (5:30 am BST).It was reported that Bangladesh Ambassador to the UAE Mohammad Imran saw the prime minister off at the airport.Bangladesh Consul General in Toronto Nayeem Uddin Ahmed and Director of International Relations of Canada and Deputy Chief of Protocol, Ontario Province Jonathan Sauve are scheduled to receive the prime minister at the airport.
    After a two-hour stopover in Toronto, the premier will fly to provincial city Quebec, the venue of the outreach session of G7 Summit.
