Even if you are not directly related or affected by the US election, you in a way concerned. The concerns are sort of a seduction. Because anything that happens in America creates interest in all parts of the world regardless what you do. For obvious reasons, people get involved in debates on the White House occupants. They even become futuristic about US foreign policy. They even guess about the internal issues of America. So US politics is across the globe all the time. Especially in the election year it becomes a little more exciting.
This time it’s of double interest. The fact that for the first time in history an American woman is likely to make into the White House. Hillary is almost in verge of making a history. If she really comes out victorious she will go into history not only as one of the first ladies, she will write her name as the first lady President of USA. It’s indeed a great, no, the best achievement one could dream of.
Apart from making history, what else she is going to make? Not much though. The US policy of world domination, political interference in the name of human rights and democracy, defense pacts with states in the name of security, non-compliance of UN resolutions, and so on, will continue unhindered.
There could be slight change in the domestic issues. The internal revenue sources and tax regime will find change, social security issues will be addressed seriously to bring about a change, the overall economy just might be under gross scrutiny. People of America are no more happy with just stunts. No more. This spending spree nation is now very serious in seeing their lives in a stable plane. There has bee too much of sliding backwards. The great depression is always a fear factor. The down turn of financial market is something that has kept the Americans guessing. They are confused lot. They are now more serious about economic than politics.
Hillary is coming in at a transition time. She will find things much harder than what Obama found. Obama also created history by becoming the first colored President of US. His tenure wasn’t smooth by any count.
The world has changed and times have transformed into a difficult one. America is changing, as the world outside. Thigns will nto be same, cannot be same.
Hillary has been with politics for a long time. She has been in state administration even longer. Not only she is in politics, she has been in the White House for long eight years as the first lady. She knows the internal routes of the President’s house. She knows the secrets of the powerful office. She held the post of the secretary of State, a powerful postion after the President. She toured the world and read the minds of the state leaders. She trained herself in dealing the dglobal issues. She had in her mind to be a contender for the big one. If she had dreamed of the Presidency, she dreamt right. She has right to be a contestant. Now she is nearly reaching the coast.
