    New York City: Due to its advancement in the fields of commerce, finance, technology, education, fashion, art, research, media, and entertainment, New York City is considered to be one of the most powerful cities in the world. Due it the diversity in every aspect, this city is also known as the cultural capital of the world. It has various nicknames such as ‘The Big Apple’, ‘The City That Never Sleeps’, ‘The Center of the Universe’, etc. The skyline of this city is exquisite, as it shows how much the city has advanced in terms of infrastructure, showcasing buildings like the Empire State Building, One World Trade Center, Bank of America Tower, to name a few.

    Paris: Paris, also dubbed as the ‘City of Love’, is one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in the world. The perfect blend of old and modern art and architecture, which is seen on every nook and corner of the city, makes it unique. It is the capital of France, and is fairly advanced where education, entertainment, media, science, and arts is concerned. The most unique part about the skyline of this city is the Eiffel Tower.

    Rio de Janeiro: Rio de Janeiro, a.k.a. Rio, is the capital city of the State of Rio de Janeiro, and also its second largest city. It is one of the most visited cities in the southern hemisphere, because of its scenic beauty, climate, tourist attractions, beaches, carnivals, festivities, nightlife, etc. The skyline of this beautiful city is characterized by the statue of ‘Christ the Redeemer’, which is the largest Art Decor statue in the world.

    Seattle: Seattle is best known for its urban development, as it is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States of America. It is the largest city in the Pacific Northwest region of North America, and is also the eight largest port in the world.
    The Space Needle, Safeco Plaza, Seattle Municipal Tower, Columbia Center, 1201 Third Avenue, and Two Union Square, are the skyscrapers that are most prominent in this city’s skyline.

    Sydney: Sydney is the most populous city in Australia, and is located on the continent’s southeastern coast. It is a high ranking city in the world because of its urban development. This beautiful city has hosted many sporting events like the Commonwealth Games, the Summer Olympics, and the Rugby World Cup. The Chifley Tower, Sydney Tower, and Citigroup Center, are the highlights of this urban city’s skyline.

    Tokyo: The capital of Japan, Tokyo, has the largest metropolitan area in the world – Greater Tokyo Area. The movie ‘The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift’, did not do complete justice in showing the beauty of this city. Tokyo is a very important city in the world, as it is considered as one of the three command centers after London and New York. The most prominent structure of this city, seen in its skyline, is the Tokyo Sky tree, which is the second tallest structure in the world.

    Toronto: Toronto is the largest city in Canada, and is its commercial capital. This city is one of the world’s most diverse cities with regards to its population. Approximately 49% of its total population consists of citizens that have been born outside Canada. The architecture of this city is very eye-catching, because you can see a blend between olden and modern-day architecture. The tallest free standing structure in the Western Hemisphere – the CN tower, is a salient feature of Toronto’s skyline.
