Armin Miewes was a German man who always wanted to devour human meat. He looked for his victim online-and a willing victim at that. He looked for years and years online on chat rooms, his e-mail contacts and other variety of ways. He finally found a victim willing to be his meal- Berned Brandes, who was 43 at the time and a computer technician.
Apparently, he sold his car and wrote his will before he went to volunteer as meat to Armin. Many rumors say that they were gay lovers. In March of 2001, they met up at Armin’s place in Rotenburg, Germany and the first thing they did was cut of Brandes’ penis and ate it together with salt garlic and other spices.
If this was not cruel enough, he recorded, with consent from Brandes, how he stabbed him and killed him. “It was an indescribable feeling for me,” Armin said to the police. He stored Brandes’ body parts for 27 months and labeled them as “rump, steak, fillet, ham and bacon.” He also said “The flesh tasted so much like pork I can’t tell you,” he also said.
Armin was arrested when one of his prospective victims got second thoughts and told the police about his deeds. He is currently in prison after his confession and imprisoned for life.
