A film festival that was held in Frankfurt, Germany that goes by the name Nippon Connections brings together in its 16th edition a series of Japanese movie assortments, as per reported byJapan Times.
The festival will inaugurate on May 24 and last till 29. It will include the debut of versatile Japanese movies starting from short advertisements to experimental hits.
Miram Komflass, director of the jubileewill head the event in association with the all-volunteer team. The event will screen over 100 varieties of movies over the span of six days. It will also hold other Japanese cultural shows.
There will be a unit on animation,highlighted by Keiichi Hara’s “Miss Hukosai”.
Theoccasion will débutall the ten part manzai (comic duo). This is a part of the drama “Hibana” that was directed by Japanese veteran director Ryuichi Hiroki, filmed for Netflix. This splendid director is dedicated to class ghost stories and stories based on Fukushima disaster.
And like every time, the Nippon Cinema units will ice on the cake their own collection of modern Japanese cinema.
