Toni Erdmann, a German film has created a storm in the Cannes film festival this year. Maren Ade has received a huge applaud from the audience as she aroused a spark of enthusiasm in the esteemed fim festival.
“The Guardian” reported it a “A biting little miracle”. The French and Spanish were equally spellbound. “The Hollywood Reporter” remarked it as “implausibly funny and touching”.

Te film, at its premiere received a long standing ovation. It has also surpassed its rating in the highest British film magazine, “Screen international”. To add to the glory, Maren Ade received the International Films Critic’s Prize shortly before the official awards ceremony.
