    Yes, the Dhaka heat is unbearable and you feel like dying but here are a few real ways you can try to beat the heat.
    1. Acceptation
    Believe it or not, accept the fact that you have to commute to and from work and does not matter if you travel by a bus, car or rickshaw, there is no way you can entirely avoid the heat and be happy forever after. Stop running from it and mentally accept that, yes this is where you live, this is where you work, and this is what you have to endure. Instead of complaining and whining, prepare for it. Mental acceptation will bring down your discomfort a lot because it will make you less restless.
    2. Water
    H2O is your best friend forever especially in the summer. Even if you are not thirsty, drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. Avoid carbonated or cold drinks even if they make your thirst go away because they are bodily harmful, of course and they are known to have chemicals that will make you feel hotter later. Stick to fresh homemade fruit juices and water. ALWAYS CARRY A WATER BOTTLE, even if you do not need it, someone else might.
    3. Dress down.
    Yes, wear clothes that you are not scared to wash regularly and are not afraid to sweat in. Do not wear too many clothes for the sake of fashion. Always remember that comfort > fashion.
    4. Hygiene
    Take showers regularly. This will get rid of the sweat and germs and you will not fall sick.
    5. Umbrella
    I know that people give you looks if you carry an umbrella when it is not raining but hey, comfort over everything right? This will help you get away from the direct heat and your head will not spin or hurt as much from this torturous sun. Otherwise, since, our hair naturally and usually is black or brown or something dark, our hair absorbs more heat than any other part of our bodies and makes our head spin like crazy.
