Nishaat Al
This might just be another not-so-scary movie based in a courtroom to you but there’s more to the story than meets the eye. This film was released back in 2005 and was based on Anneliese Michel who was believed to have died during an exorcism in 1976, scientifically due to malnourishment and dehydration.
Many are rumored to think that maybe Annaliese was trying to recreate the 1973 movie 1973 The Exorcist. However, may of her companions reported noticed demonic behaviours in years prior to this movie was released. Annaliese was a religious teenager and it was on a pilgrimage when one of her companions started noticing the initial signs of anything paranormal going on with her. She was said to be avoiding pictures of Jesus and refused to drink holy spring water. It was 1969 and she was only 18 when she started experiencing seizures. She thought she was possessed by Hitler and Cairo.
She was licking her own urine off the floor, tearing her clothes apart, biting off bird heads, cats etc. The 67 exorcism performed on her heavily affected her body. Her knee ligaments tore due to genuflections and finally, when she tried to starve herself to rid herself off the demons, her body gave up after a week and she passed away. Her family and the father and pastor involved with her exorcisms were blamed of negligent homicide. So now you know that the movie was not totally made up, even thought her parents were unhappy with a movie being made.
