We have all heard the quote “knowledge is power” numerous times in our little lives. It is time to listen to what our Kindergarten teachers told us, and become more knowledgeable. Be as informed as you can about what you are going through. As the more you know, the more you will understand, and the better you will manage your emotions. Another key thing to do is to understand your fears and then normalize them. You can do this buy trying to figure what where your fears come from and asking yourself questions like “Should I really be afraid?”. You can also turn your fear into something motivating. When you go through a transition, look at al the things you have learned so far and incorporate them to make the transition easier.
