This may sound like straight from a sci-fi story. But Samsung has really patented another futuristic gadget this April. They have announced to be developing Smart Contact Lenses. Built-in camera is just the tip of the ice berg. The features are unimaginably amazing and just as much exciting.
South Korea granted the tech giant another great patent. Which was announced in the Samsung-centric blog SamMobile. The first operation of the lenses is to project images straight into the eyes of the person using it. The sensors for operating the smart lenses sound quite simple as well. Many of the exciting functions can be done only by coordinated blinks. Of course, taking pictures as well. All of these processed data will be directly transferred to the connected smartphone, through embedded antennas. Either for storing or for further processing.
The most amazing part about this news is, Samsung is teaming up with Google.
