Police on Tuesday noon recovered the bodies of two friends, who went missing on Monday morning, from the district town.
The deceased were identified as Sajon, a hawker by profession, and his friend transport worker Emon.
On Tuesday noon, locals spotted the bodies floating under the Brahmaputra Bridge and informed police, said Officer-in-charge of Kotoali Model Police Station Kamrul Islam.
Later, police recovered the bodies, the OC added. -UNB
