Daring robbery committed at Khedmothpur market under Pirganj upazila of the district on Sunday night.
A group of dacoits entered the market wearing mask and assaulted and stabbed night guard Khurshid Alam 40.
The dacoits looted valuables from different shops worth about Taka two lakhs.
Local people rescued night guard Khurshid Alam and admitted him to Pirganj Upazila Health Complex.
