We know, how hydrogen cells burns within and fuel the sun for radiating the massive amount of energy. Though, the scientists have not been able to harness such incredible power. They have managed to adapt its mechanism into Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) that runs on hydrogen fuel cells. Recent breakthroughs hold a promising future to revolutionize the reduced use of carbon based fossil fuels!
Hyundai has brought their latest FCEV to compete in the race of saving environment alongside with the electric-battery cars by Tesla. Hyundai ix352014 just broke the record of unbroken trip of 9,810 km, with only short fuel replenishing breaks. It went on highest of 643 km with only 1 tank of hydrogen. The journey took place around the London on the M25 motorway. London Hydrogen Network Expansion Project backed the whole trial.
This technology shows far more potential and efficiency both in performance and utility.
Many car companies are working on this technology right now. Toyota’s Mirai FCEV came out last year. Honda will be introducing their new model Clarity, this year. Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Volkswagen are also developing these cars.
