Also, it will help you express new ideas while improving your reading, negotiating and communicating skills.

Solving puzzles will enhance your problem solving and analytical skills greatly. It might also prevent dementia later in your life. Start with easy and puzzles first, for example maybe the crossword puzzle or Sudoku from your Newspaper. Slowly move on to more complex and complicated ones as you start to get a hang of it. Practice Rubik’s Cube, Chess or Japanese pocket puzzles during in your free time. You can even play strategic video games to improve your problem solving skills.
A Brand New Hobby
Learning new skills will also activate different parts of your brain. For example- learning to play a new instrument. According to researches, when children start learning music, their brains are more functional as they begin to process and hear sounds they could not otherwise. Other stimulating activities like reading, dancing, socializing or sports will not only keep the brain sharp but keep depression at bay.
