DOT Desk: [2]Customs officials recovered approximately 12 kilogrammes of gold bars, worth Tk 8.5 crore at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital on Monday morning. [3]The officials seized the smuggled gold from the cargo hole of Bangladesh Biman’s flight of BG-4148, which flew in from Dubai.

[4]Confirming the news, Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) Director General Abdur Rouf said, “Necessary steps will be taken upon further investigation.”
