UNB: Alor Feriwala’, an initiative taken by Palli Bidyut Samiti to supply electricity to any residences within five minutes, was inaugurated at its Cumilla office in Uttar Rampur on Tuesday. Engineer Md Ataur Rahman, caretaker of Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board of Cumilla region, Md Jahangir Alam, general manager of Cumilla Palli Bidyut Samiti-2, executive Engineer Md Abdul Hannan were present.

A total of eight feriwalas of four zonal and three sub-zonal offices of the samiti will work to supply electric in villages.
