The personnel of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested an alleged drug paddler from Amrakhali check-post on Benapole-Jessore Highway and recovered 1,800 Yaba pills on Friday.
Acting on a tip off, the BGB members intercepted a Jessore bound passenger bus from Benapole at Amrakhali BGB check-post and recovered the banned Yaba tablets after searching the handbag of 10-year-old bus passenger Payel. Her father Tariqul Islam, 42, was also arrested in this connection.
