A BRAC official allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Pirganj upazila of the district on Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Shamol Chandra, a manager of Borodargah Branch of BRAC and son of Kalimohon, a resident of Chapra-Parbatipur under Ranisankail upazila of Thakurgaon district.
