It has been suggested that French language will be spoken in plenty at the Gateway Film Centre.
In the whole series named “Young French Cinema” where 12 French movies will be played and a number of short films.
“The content is really good,” said Gateway President Chris Hamel, who has seen all 12 movies. “We think that our audiences are going to enjoy seeing all the titles. I think they’re really very similar to the type of American independent films that are being made right now.”The 2-year-old series is a joint effort by Unifrance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting French cinema worldwide, and the Cultural Services Department of the French Embassy in New York.
