Bangladesh said that the UN’s conflict response strategies need to be situated between the broader framework for political solution to conflicts. Ambassador Masud Bin Momen, Permanent Representative (PR) of Bangladesh to the UN said while highlighting Bangladesh’s position as the third highest troop contributors to the UN peacekeeping missions. While addressing at the “Maintenance of International Peace and Security: Addressing Complex Contemporary Challenges to International Peace and Security” on the Friday, the Ambassador came up with these remarks.He showed optimism of Bangladesh that it will work towards Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s vision for regional and international peace with understanding.
